Refund policy

When purchasing, please choose carefully, as we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

 

Our policy allows for refunds or exchanges for Faulty Items only within 14 days of purchase.

 

Faulty Items

If you believe you have received a faulty item, please get in touch with us immediately at orders@simplifymyhome.co.nz. We will assess the issue and determine if our warranty covers it. If the item is found defective, we will repair, replace or provide a refund for the item, as appropriate.

Please note that items damaged due to normal wear and tear are not considered faulty.

 

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, not removed from shrink wrap or protective wrap.


Non-returnable items/services include:

* Shipping costs

* Gift cards

* Custom labels or custom items

 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

* Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

* If we have incurred shipping costs, this will be deducted from the amount to be refunded

 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within ten working days, less shipping costs.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven't received a refund, recheck your bank account.

Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale, clearance & seconds or discounted items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sales, clearance & seconds, or discounted items cannot be refunded. This includes any item(s) purchased using a discount code.

 

Exchanges (if applicable)

We can offer exchanges for other products only, not services. If you have received your item, to coordinate an exchange, it must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, not removed from shrink wrap or protective wrap. Please email us at orders@simplifymyhome.co.nz, and we will advise you of the exchange process and the return shipping address. 

Please note that there may be additional shipping charges payable to assist you with an exchange.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

 

If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

 

Shipping

To return your product, you should send us an email at orders@simplifymyhome.co.nz prior, and we will advise you of the return shipping address.

 

You will be responsible for your shipping costs for returning your item unless the item you have received is incorrect or is deemed faulty. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

 

If you are shipping an item or items over the value of $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
